Pilates Reformer Training

 

What is Pilates?

 

  • Pilates is a unique system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and body in harmony to make us feel invigorated.  Pilates is a balance of strength and flexibility exercise to enhance client's back and abdominal strength and build long, lean muscles.  Pilates works several muscle groups simultaneously in an efficient, controlled and fluid manner with emphasis on stabilization of the body's core muscles.

What is a  Pilates Reformer?

 

  • A Pilates Reformer is a machine that enhances Pilates exercise.  Pilates reformer adds resistance and assistance to client's workout.

Private Reformer Training

 

  • Certified STOTT PILATES® Instructor leads client through their personalized workout.  The Five Basic Principles of Pilates are used for the foundation of each client program.   Client begins with a program designed to meet their needs, goals and personal fitness levels growing through the essential to intermediate repertoire.   Instructor works one on one with client in a private studio setting.  We recommend one hour sessions 1-2 times per week.

Duet Reformer Training

 

  • Certified STOTT PILATES® Pilates Instructor leads a pair of clients through their program sharing the hour appointment.  Clients begin with a program designed to meet their needs, goals and personal fitness levels growing through the essential to intermediate repertoire.  Longer workout sessions are available.  We recommend one hour sessions 1-2 times per week.
